Pig Wrestlers Set Record

UPDATE -- The Hog Hunnies took first place in the women’s division, and the Honda Hogs finished first among the men’s teams in this year’s pig-wrestling competition. The Sizzlin Bacon took first for the intermediate division, and the Pork Choppers finished first among the Pee Wee teams. The event was held Saturday night during the Sheridan County Fair.

Fairgrounds Heats Up With Events

The Sheridan County Fair welcomed new exhibitors and new quality to the show ring on Saturday. Contestants braced their lambs and showed them off in preparation for the livestock sale in the crowd favorite sheep show that evening.

Sheridan Man Arrested for Murder in the Second Degree

A 41-year-old Sheridan man was arrested for Murder in the Second Degree Friday night after a domestic disturbance ended in tragedy.
