Final 3rd Thursday of the Summer Season

For some, snow boots and coats were the attire for the evening, but the cold steady wind didn’t dissuade hundreds of shoppers from turning out for the final 3rd Thursday Street Festival. But it did cause some vendors difficulty in keeping their booths grounded.

Koltiska Pumpkin Patch Opens for its 12th Year

Just east of Sheridan, there is a 5 plus acre field full of pumpkins of all size and color. The Koltiska Pumpkin Patch opened its field for the 12th year to the public Wednesday according to owner Vicki Koltiska.

Sheridan Memorial Hospital Hosts Their Annual Birthday Party for 5 Year Olds

On Saturday, Sheridan Memorial Hospital will host their annual birthday party for 5 year olds in the facilities back parking lot. Cecile Pattison, with the hospital’s Community Relations, said that all children born in 2011 are invited.

The City of Sheridan was recently named “Recycler of the Year” by the Wyoming Solid Waste and Recycling Association after the first full year of its citywide curbside recycling program.
