Leadership Sheridan Graduates Introduced at Chamber Luncheon

Twenty people graduated from this year's Leadership Sheridan County class and were introduced to those attending Wednesday's Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce luncheon.

Officers with the Sheridan Police Department responded to a report Tuesday afternoon of a male individual damaging property at the Best Western Sheridan Center on Main Street.

Missing Woman In Bighorn Mountains Found Deceased

A Kentucky woman missing in the Bighorn Mountains west of Buffalo since Monday has been found deceased, according to Johnson County Sheriff Steve Kozisek.

Chuck was born September 16, 1951 in Mt. Vernon, WA to Paul Blakeman and Vi Welter. Chuck spent the majority of his life in Wyoming. He went to school until his junior year at Sheridan High School. He then went on to work for Decker Coal Mine from 1977 – 2002. Chuck had a passion for cars. He raced stock cars from 1977 – 1978. He always said one of his favorite cars was a Mercury Chop top.

Leadership Sheridan County Applications Available Now

The most recent class of individuals has graduated from the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Sheridan County Program and that signifies that a new class of applicants will be determined soon.
