School District 2 Fourth in Instructional Spending

Sheridan County School District 2 ranks fourth among Wyoming's 48 school districts in the money it spends on instruction, and seventh among the district in the average teacher's salary.

Vehicle Vandalized in Possible Hate Crime

Just days after racial slurs were written on a white board hung on the door of two Native American students at Sheridan College, the vehicle of another Native American student was vandalized in what she believes is a hate crime.

Kenneth Switzer, 93, previously of Sheridan, passed away on July 18, 2017, in Ojai, CA.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at Kane Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Hovestol officiating. Inurnment will be in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. A Reception will follow in the Kane Reception Hall.
