Leo Angus Woodbury, 79 year old Johnson County rancher, passed away quietly October 19 at the Johnson County Health Care Center in Buffalo, Wyoming. A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, October 25th at 1:00 p.m. at the Brian and Rita Long Ranch at 924 Trabing Road (formerly the Woodbury Ranch). A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Rolland Curtis of Sheridan passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Westview Healthcare Center.

Rolland was born September 28, 1931, to Albert A. and Irva (Blood) Curtis in Rochester, MN. He had six sisters and five brothers.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

STATE CROSS COUNTRY - The Wyoming state cross country championships wrap up the season Saturday the Broncs finished 7th the Lady Broncs were 6th in the 2-A the Big Horn Rams were 5th the Tongue River Eagles were 6th and for the Eagles Cooper Vollmer made all-state with a 10th place finish, the Tongue River Lady Eagles finished 6th.

Sheridan Head coach Art Bauers says they did have mixed results Saturday but over all both teams and a pretty good meet as he talks about the Broncs effort.
