People Urged to Promote Public Land Day

People attending Monday night's public land meeting were urged to promote a proposed Public Lands Day in Wyoming to be held annually on the land Saturday of September.

Proposals to turn over federal public lands to management by the state of Wyoming aren't about local control, according to the president of the Council for the Bighorn Range.

A celebration of the life of Sandy Sackett Dixon, 77 year old Kaycee resident who passed away early Friday morning at the Johnson County Health Care Center in Buffalo will be held Thursday, October 12th at 11:00 a.m. at the Harold Jarrard Park Building in Kaycee with Reverend Carol Buckingham officiating. Interment will be in the Kaycee Cemetery at a later date with family and friends.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs crushed Campbell county 72-7 Friday to run their record to 7-0, the game was lopsided from the opening play the Broncs scored on as long run from Parker Christensen and led and 56-7 at halftime, Head coach Don Julian got the starters early and younger players continued the scoring.
