Big Horn Holds St. Patrick's Day Parade

Decorated floats, cars and a couple of Big Horn fire trucks rolled through the main street of Big Horn Friday afternoon past a few dozen spectators in the community's annual St. Patrick's Day parade.

Biteman Releases Statement on Governor’s Veto

As Sheridan Media previously reported, Governor Matt Mead vetoed House Bill 137, the Wyoming Repeal Gun Free Zones Act. The bill would have allowed the concealed carry of firearms in government meetings.

UPDATE: Sheridan's JC Penney to Close in June

JC Penney has released a list of 138 stores that will be closing in an effort to cut costs and grow sales at its strongest locations. According to a statement from the Company’s Corporate Office, Sheridan's downtown location is among those that will be closed.

McGinnis, Ballek Announce Retirement from YMCA

The Sheridan County YMCA Board President Ellen Treide announced that Executive Director Jay McGinnis and Associate Executive Director Diane Ballek will be retiring this year.
