Robert Briggs, who's the city planner and economic development director, said its been a little over a decade since the city's sign ordinance was originally adopted.

Dispensing rooms will no longer be licensed in Wyoming under a law passed by this year's Legislature.

The request came before commissioners during their staff meeting Monday. County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller made the request on behalf of the extension service. In an interview with Sheridan Media, she explained how the hiring process will work.

The Sheridan County Commissioners will start working on their 2017-2018 fiscal year budget soon. According to Commissioner Bob Rolston, even the smaller pieces of revenue that have been cut from years past have a big effect on the overall outlook.
