Legislator Warns to 'Prepare for the Worst'

State Rep. Mike Madden warned those at Wednesday's Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce luncheon that he wouldn't be optimistic regarding state finances in the coming biennium.

Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret Nelson, 87 year old Buffalo woman who passed away Tuesday evening, at the Johnson County Health Care Center, in Buffalo, will be celebrated Saturday, March 11th at 10:00 a.m., from the St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Buffalo, with Father Peter Johnson as celebrant. Visitation will be held from the Harness Funeral Home on Friday from 1:00 p.m.

March Y Art Night Set for Friday

The Sheridan County YMCA has been offering a new program for the past two months. This new program entitled Art Night, gives kids a chance to learn more about art from a local pro, according to Tyler Rogers, the Y Arts Coordinator.

2017 Home and Garden Show Starts Friday

Sheridan’s Annual Home and Garden show is set to kick-off on Friday at the Holiday Inn Convention Center. According to the event Coordinator Gini Horner, you can find a little of everything at the event.
