Funeral services for Susan Gibbs, 61 year old Buffalo resident who died Sunday in a one vehicle accident near Worland, Wyoming will be held Saturday, April 29th at 2:00 p.m. from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Ruby officiating. A private family interment will be held in Willow Grove Cemetery.

Following the Sheridan City Council adoption of resolution 13-17, the City will now serve as a Passport Acceptance Facility. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

BRONC FOOTBALL - Sheridan high school Junior Blayne Baker will be a force for the bronc football team as he enters his senior season this fall.

Baker at 6'5 and 250 pounds has had the attention of college recruiters since he picked up plenty of playing time as a sophomore on the Bronc offensive and defensive lines.

This spring Baker has received offers to play at the University of Wyoming and Montana state we caught up this Baker at Sheridan high school this week.

Ag Committee Hears Report on Invasive Grasses

Information on the two newest invasive grasses in Sheridan County, Medusahead and ventenata, was presented at this month's meeting of the county's ag and natural resources committee.

The Community Resource Center of Johnson County (CRC) is seeking input from county residents that will be compiled in a Community Needs Assessment to be used to acquire future grant funding through the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) program.
