Johnson County and Volunteers of America (VOA) have agreed to extend their contracts for the coming year for VOA to continue providing drug court and juvenile detention services for the county.

Elephant King Noodles and Grill recently set up shop on Sheridan’s North Main Street and they are bringing food from the southeast Asian region to the community.
The award winning Calmus Vocal Ensemble will perform at the Sheridan College Whitney Center for the Arts Wednesday. Founded in 1999, the quintet hails from Germany, according to Dr. Erin Hanke, Whitney Center Director.
