4-H, FFA Livestock Sale Tops $470,000

Buyers paid a total $472,000 for livestock at the auction that ended this year's Sheridan County Fair.

Clint Foslien, 90, of Sheridan, died peacefully on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at Green House Living for Sheridan, WY where he spent the last 4 years of his life. He was born June 24, 1927 in Alexandria, MN to Clarence & Eleanor (Ley) Foslien. Clarence died of pneumonia when Clint was only 3 years old and he was raised by his maternal grandmother.

Lawrence “Larry” Baumgartner passed away at home on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 surrounded by family. He was born March 23, 1936 to Henry and Agnes (Smith) in Buffalo.
Larry spent his time growing up on the family ranch in Arvada with his twin brothers, Jim and Tim. He went to grade school by Arvada and graduated from Sheridan High School.

Home Destroyed in Wednesday Evening Blaze

Shortly after 5 Wednesday evening, Sheridan Fire and Rescue responded to the report of a structure fire located just north of Sheridan on the Decker Highway.
