TROOPER CHARGED-APPEAL

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — A former Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper has appealed the 15-year prison sentence he received in 2009.

County Permit Numbers Best Since 2007

Permits processed by Sheridan County for the first 25 days of August are the best they've been for a decade.

Conservation District Awaits Summary of Information from Meeting

The next step in a study of what to do with the old Acme Plant property north of Sheridan is on hold pending a summary of information gathered at a meeting in Sheridan last week.
