State Superintendent Jillian Balow has been appointed Treasurer of Education Commission of the States, a nonprofit organization that serves as a partner to state policymakers across the 50 states, District of Columbia and territories.

Funeral services for Wyatt Blakeman, 15 year old Kaycee youth who passed away early Friday morning, way before his time, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, will be held Friday, December 29th at 2:00 p.m. in the Harold Jarrard Park Building in Kaycee with Pastor Mickey Wells officiating. Visitation will be held at the Harness Funeral Home in Buffalo on Thursday from 1:00 p.m.

Glenna Marie (Palser) Reed, 68, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at her residence after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was born January 1, 1949 in Greeley, Colorado to Clara Louise and Edger Dale Palser. In her youth, the family moved to Kimball, Nebraska where she met her future husband, Lonnie Reed.
