Dog Show Gets Under Way Monday

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers opened up the state Double "AA" American Legion baseball tournament yesterday day in Cheyenne and dropped the opener 13-3 against Casper they will play Evanston in an elimination game today.

Other games Sunday had Gillette beating Evanston 3-0, Laramie whipped Jackson 18-3 and Post 6 from Cheyenne shut out Rock Springs 14-0.

JETS BASEBALL - The state "B" American Legion tournament wrapped up Sunday at Thorne-Rider stadium Gillette took the title with a 9-0 shut out win over Evanston.
