Private family services for Clare Johnson, 81 year old long time Buffalo resident who passed away early Tuesday morning at the Johnson County Health Care Center, will be held by his family at a later date. Donations in Mr. Johnson’s memory may be made to the St. Francis Animal Shelter in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.

Charles Bruce Carpenter, 83, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018, at the Sheridan Manor.

Bruce was born on April 24, 1935 to parents Allen and Virginia (Smith) Carpenter in Danbury, WI. His family moved to Montana during the depression. When Bruce was 14 he began working on ranches he also worked in the woods with his dad.

Gariffa Pleads Not Guilty to Charges

Colleen Ann Garriffa pleaded not guilty in district court Tuesday to two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

Verlee J. Garbrecht, 85, of Sheridan, Wyoming passed away in Billings, MT. on
Wednesday, July 18, 2018. An 11 year resident of Sheridan, Wyoming and
former long time resident of Rock Springs, Mrs. Garbrecht died following a fall.
She was born at home on October 2, 1932 in Rock Springs, and was the
daughter of Ben and Katherine (Zotti) Boschetto. Mrs. Garbrecht was a 1950

Updating the Comprehensive Plan

When the Sheridan County Commissioners approved the budget for the fiscal year that began on July 1, it included funding to update the Sheridan County Comprehensive Plan.

Dayton Days Begins Friday

Troopers Split two in Gillette / Jets Host State "B"Baseball / Rockies v Astros Tonight

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers split road games in Gillette Monday night dropping the first game 5-0 and coming back to take the nightcap 8-7 the Troops close out the regular season at Post 6 in Cheyenne tonight the state double "AA" tournament starts July 30 in Cheyenne.

JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets have a number one seed as they host the state "B" tournament this week at Thorne-Rider stadium.
