Last Tuesday, the U.S. Senate has declared July 28 the National Day of the American Cowboy. The resolution was introduced by U.S. Senators Mike Enzi, John Barrasso, and Heidi Heitkamp.

Jets Play an Elimination Game Today / Troopers Open AA State Baseball Sunday / Rox v A's Tonight

JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets dropped their winner's bracket game last night in a 5-4 loss to Evanston they will play an elimination game today at 11 am against Gillette, the other elimination game has Cody playing Douglas at 1:30 the two winners then meet at 4:00 for another elimination game.

Riverton and Laramie were both knocked out of the tournament yesterday.

The unbeaten semi final game has Evanston playing Rock Springs at 6:30.

Dodson Says He Has Plan for Wyoming

District Court Judge John Fenn ordered a mental health evaluation Thursday to determine the competency of a defendant before she is arraigned on drug-related charges.

Trial Date Set for Gaffney

Jimmy Wayne Gaffney pleaded not guilty in District Court Thursday to one count of possession and two counts of delivery of controlled substances.
