Johnson County, Cheyenne Enter Law Enforcement Agreement

Sheridan College men’s basketball promotes Ball to head coach

Sheridan College announced today that Cody Ball was named the new men’s basketball head coach for the Generals. Ball replaces Matt Hammer who accepted a position as head coach at Colorado State University – Pueblo in April.

Ball has served as an assistant coach at Sheridan College for five seasons and coached at the college level for eight seasons. He was an assistant coach at Northwest College in Powell, Wyo., for two seasons and for Mount Marty College in Yankton, S.D., for one season.

A Sheridan College student is one of only 10 students in the U.S. selected for a prestigious 10-week paid cyber security internship at Dakota State University in Madison, S.D.

County Health Insurance to Cost More Next Year

Michael Joseph Sandborn, age 64, of Story, Wyoming peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving children and grandchildren on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Mike was born February 4, 1955 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Jim and Rita Sandborn. He was raised in Mequon, Wisconsin with his four sisters; Mary, Sharyn, Janice and Karrie.

Local Ponds Stocked by G&F

Fishery staff from the Tillett Springs Rearing Station near Lovell stocked fish in the Sheridan County Fairgrounds and Mavrakis ponds on Tuesday. Fish stocked were catchable sized rainbow trout around 8-10 inches long transported via truck with insulated and oxygenated water tanks.

Management Coordinator Praises Community After Flooding

Sheridan County Emergency Management Coordinator Bruce Edwards said that he is very proud of how the community responded to the flooding on Tuesday.
