Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon announced Tuesday that workers impacted by coal industry layoffs will have renewed access to $1.7 million in grant funding.

An arraignment hearing was held Tuesday in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan for 33-year-old Bonnie Brown, who is charged with one count of Felony Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine, and one count of Felony Deliver a Controlled Substance- Marijuana.

SHS ATHLETICS / ACTIVITIES - Friday night at the Sheridan Bronc football game the school will be honoring the 2009 Bronc state football championship team it was Don Julian's third year as Head coach and the Broncs beat Cheyenne Central for the state title.

Julian says they try and do these special events during home football games to recognize teams and students fore their achievements.

BHS Hosting 'FRESHMAN IMPACT' Event Thursday

Buffalo High School will again be hosting a FRESHMAN IMPACT event on Thursday.

According to a release from the Buffalo Police Department and the FRESHMAN IMPACT organization, they want the community to be aware of the mock emergency event at the high school.

The Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority will seek an additional $1.3 million in either a grant or loan from the Wyoming Business Council to help pay for expansion of the Vacutech facility in the Sheridan High-Tech Park.
