Throughout the entire planning and design process for the new school in Bighorn, it was agreed upon that artificial turf would be the playing surface for the football field. In April, the Director of the state School Facilities Commission requested officials from Sheridan County School District One formally ask the commission for their approval of the artificial field.

This is the time of year when things begin to pick up for the travel industry and that holds true for Sheridan Travel and Tourism

That's Sheridan Travel and Tourism Director Penny Becker, who says she's been busy spreading the word about all of the various activities in Sheridan.

Sheridan County Fair Association Board Chairman Bill White and Facilities Director Sharon Nadeau recently met with representatives from the User's Group Committee. Chairman White says the meeting went well for both sides.
