The Thorne Rider Park steering committee hosted a public design workshop last night. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has more.

The workshop was the culmination of two public meetings in April where comments were taken on what improvements could be made to Thorne Rider Park.

Residents of Story will have a chance to learn about the dangers of bears in the outdoors during a special presentation at the Chuck Wagon Country Store Saturday. Game and Fish Information Specialist Warren Mischke.

Mischke outlines some of what the display will include.

The SheridanAires will put on their traditional June performance at the Sheridan Senior Center in a couple of weeks. Senior Center Executive Director Carmen Rideout explains.

Rideout says there'll be several performances of which to choose from.

The Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a kayak abandoned in Tongue River Canyon Wednesday night. Sheridan County Search and Rescue did begin a search for anyone associated with the watercraft at around 8 Wednesday evening.

Sheridan College has been recognizing distinguished alumni for several years now. How fitting that one of those alums found a way to honor all students that have attended the college for the past 60 years. Maurice Campbell was a member of the first graduating class at Sheridan College in 1949.

Last December the Corral West building in Sheridan caught fire. Boot Barn had just purchased the business, along with all the other Wyoming Corral West locations. Nearly six months later, the building is getting a facelift and preparations are underway to officially re-open Boot Barn in Sheridan.
