Numbers Are In For Last Week's Sheridan High School Blood Drive.

Last week, United Blood Services teamed up with Sheridan Media and Sheridan High School for a blood drive that produced outstanding results. United Blood Services Donor Recruitment Representative, Shadd Cullinan, says that the numbers this year were considerably higher than last year.

Identities Of Murder Suspect And Victim Released By Authorities

A 28-year-old Sheridan man is in custody at the Sheridan County Detention Center, on suspicion of murder. Shawn Osborne was arrested by Sheridan Police on Friday afternoon. The body of 42-year-old Gerald Bloom of Sheridan was discovered in a residence at 1075 Bellevue Avenue in Sheridan.

Wyoming Ranked Among Worst in Driver Safety Laws

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming is ranked the fourth worst state for driver safety laws by a national advocacy group.

The Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety says Wyoming gets credit for only 5.5 laws when it comes to the 15 laws the group considers essential for promoting roadway safety.

Methane Production Takes a Dive in Campbell County

GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - Coal-bed methane gas production in Campbell County plummeted almost 25% in 2009.

The depressed price for natural gas has caused some major drilling companies to reduce the amount of gas they produced by not fixing broken wells, not drilling new wells and shutting in some producing wells until prices improve.
