Brandon Jones made an appearance in 4th Judicial District Court on Tuesday. The 20-year-old changed his plea to guilty on two counts of burglary. The plea was part of an agreement with prosecutors.
The reclamation work at the Kleenburn Recreation Area near Acme is almost complete. The office of Abandoned Mine Lands funded most of the work as the area was once used as a coal mine.
The Sheridan County Commissioners are holding their regular meetings at Sheridan College again as the renovations continue on the 3rd and 4th floor of the courthouse.
The City is going to trade infrastructure extensions for land to facilitate a high tech development in north Sheridan. Forward Sheridan Director Jay Stender says the trade is a proactive step toward economic development in Sheridan.
