The Sheridan County School District Two Board of Trustees held their annual meeting with local legislators Monday night. Superintendent Craig Dougherty says the meeting is a good opportunity to touch base with the legislators.

The GOP Party Bus made a stop in Sheridan Monday.

The Wyoming GOP Party Bus began its statewide tour last Friday in Cheyenne, and Monday the Bus made a stop in downtown Sheridan at the local GOP headquarters. Wyoming Republican Party Chair Diana Vaughan says that the bus tour has been going well.

Cynde Georgen will present this month's Sheridan County Historical Society program this Thursday.

The Sheridan County Historical Society's monthly dinner and program is this Thursday. The program will be presented by Cynde Georgen, and is titled In the Shadow of the Bighorns: A Whirlwind History of the Sheridan Area's Early Days and Pioneer Residents.

Dharminder Sen's trial began Monday, October 25th in 4th Judicial District Court.

Whitney Commons was a blanket of pink Saturday at the 2nd Annual “The Link—Partnership in Pink” fundraiser sponsored by Memorial Hospital. 

There were over 650 registered participants in the fun run/walk event featuring a 10k run, a 5k run or walk and a 1.5 mile walk.

Last week we reported that members of the Wyoming Wilderness Association went before the Sheridan County Commissioners to tell them about their recent visit to Washington D.C. and the Wyoming Delegation, to garner their support for keeping the Rock Creek Wilderness Area designated as Wilderness forever.

Taking District 2 employees' health to heart, Memorial Hospital will have onsite blood draws this week at Coffeen and SJHS.

For the past several years right before Halloween, Sheridan Memorial Hospital has conducted on-site blood draws for the employees of Sheridan County School District 2. Spokesperson Cecile Pattison explains why.

The employees pay for their own blood draw, which costs the same as if they were to have it done at the hospital.

Gun enthusiasts gathered from far and wide at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds over this past weekend to take a look at the tables covered with firearms, ammo, knives and every other kind of gun gizmo to be found.
