CHEYENNE, (AP) - Wyoming's oil and gas supervisor says he's begun reviewing more than 50 written comments on proposed changes to the agency's rules and regulations for oil and gas development, including hydraulic fracturing. Thomas Doll says he plans to incorporate substantive comments before the rules go to the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission next month.

CASPER, (AP) - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is expressing concern about potential contamination of aquifers from three proposed in-situ uranium mines in Wyoming. The EPA has told the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to go back revisit its environmental reviews of the proposed mines.

News of Sheridan County Clerk Audrey Koltiska's death late Thursday rippled through the community, and certainly had a significant impact on the employees at the Sheridan County Courthouse. Given the circumstances, the County Clerk's office was closed Friday.

It became official Thursday, there is new ownership of the Sheridan Holiday Inn as the hotel has been sold to Cloud Peak Hospitality LLC out of Gillette. Sugarland Enterprises had owned the hotel for a number of years prior to the sale. Along with taking over ownership of the Sheridan Holiday Inn, Cloud Peak Hospitality currently owns four hotels in Gillette and one in Buffalo.

A new master plan was approved at the monthly Northern Wyoming Community College District Trustee meeting last night. The top priority of the new plan is expanding "student learning spaces" by renovating and adding to existing buildings at Sheridan College, says Chief Financial Officer Cheryl Heath
