Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal has endorced candidate Mike Massie for Superintendent of Public Instruction.

At a news conference in Casper Tuesday, Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal endorsed candidate Mike Massie for State Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Freudenthal says that he's more than comfortable that Massie can handle the day to day operations that the position requires.

Ranchester Mayor Cliff Clevenger points to an area of Coffeen Street and Railway that will soon be paved.

Coffeen Street in Ranchester has undergone a complete makeover as the railroad crossing has been removed and the street has been dropped six feet.

66-year-old Sheridan resident Marvin Johnson died in a one vehicle accident last Thursday on Interstate 90 37 miles east of Buffalo in Johnson County. In a media release issued Tuesday by the Wyoming Highway Patrol, it states that Johnson was westbound in the Interstate when for unknown reasons his vehicle drifted off the roadway going into the median.

During Dharminder Sen's Pre-Trial Conference Tuesday morning in 4th Judicial District Court, Judge John Fenn addressed several motions. The first two were decisions he made on motions that were put before the Court earlier this summer.

Dhar Sen, the third defendant in the Ernst Murder case, is scheduled to go to trial October 25th in Sheridan.

A Pre-Trial Conference was held in 4th Judicial District Court Tuesday morning in the case of The State vs. Dharminder Vir Sen. Judge John Fenn said that like the Dennis Poitra, Jr. jury pool selection, fifty jurors will be called for the morning of October 25th, and if a complete jury is not selected from those, then fifty will be called for that afternoon.

As part of a nationwide effort, The Department of Drug Enforcement Administration and the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation are sponsoring a Prescription Drug Take Back day this Saturday in Sheridan.
