The Community Assessment Team from the Wyoming Rural Development Council goes over the findings of the two-day assessment at Sheridan City Hall.

Two teams from the Wyoming Rural Development Council wrapped up their two day community assessment in Sheridan with a Town Hall meeting Wednesday at Sheridan City Hall. The assessment was a five year follow up to the one that was conducted in 2004.

Staff with Sheridan Memorial Hospital took part in a disaster drill exercise Wednesday.

Sheridan Memorial Hospital conducted a couple of emergency decontamination disaster drills Wednesday. Students from Sheridan High School participated in the training exercise by posing as patients that had been contaminated by an explosion in the school's lab.

U.S. Senator Mike Enzi

U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, who is a ranking member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, urged the Senate Wednesday to move forward on the consideration of a Resolution of Disapproval that would overturn a new health care regulation that breaks President Obama's promise.

Board Members View the New Bighorn Theater

Sheridan County School District 1 and Northern Wyoming Community College District held their annual joint board meeting at the new Big Horn High School last night. After dinner and a tour of the new facility, the two groups discussed concurrent and dual enrollment, including possible legislative changes to these programs.

Two teams with the Wyoming Rural Development Council are in Sheridan conducting a community assessment that is a follow up to the one they conducted a little over five years ago. One team has been traveling around to various locations in the City to garner feedback and hear from the community, while the other team has been holding listening sessions at the Inner Circle at the Fulmer Library.
