Advocacy and Resource Center is looking for volunteers for its crisis hotline.

This is the time of year that the Advocacy and Resource Center in Sheridan begins to make their push for volunteers to help with their 24-hour crisis line.

Volunteers of American Northern Rockies issued a media release Tuesday stating that the Billings Veteran Stand Down gave assistance and services to approximately 200 homeless Veterans on Tuesday.

A recent report released by the child advocate group the Annie E. Casey Foundation was very harsh on Wyoming's juvenile justice system. The report indicated that Wyoming spent some $66 million last year incarcerating kids.

The Downtown Sheridan Association announced that they have received a $3,000 grant through the Wyoming Community Foundation, made possible by the Kim and Mary Kay Love Family Donor Advised Endowment and the Sheridan Area Opportunities funds.
