4 Killed, 1 Injured in Crash on Crow Reservation

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - The Montana Highway Patrol says four people are dead and another is hospitalized after a head-on crash on an Interstate 90 frontage road on the Crow Indian Reservation.

The Water Year 2011 Hydrologic Summary from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration office in Riverton was released this week, and Wyoming saw a record water year in 2011 which included heavy flooding across the state.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says it's important to be mindful of High Wind Advisories. In the last 48 hours, troopers responded to at least fifteen tractor trailer blow-over crashes, according to a media release from Sergeant Stephen Townsend.

Public sentiment has been against the removal of old trees from the Johnson County Courthouse and Jim Gatchell Museum Premises, but one tree that was removed near the museum recently was definitely a public safety hazard, according to County Sanitarian Rick Durfee.

Buffalo's City Council will bid a design for the water lines in and around the new Cloud Peak School and the existing schools in the southwest portion of the city.

Acting Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder told the Buffalo City Council at last week's meeting that the department had completed deer harvesting for this year, saying officers had harvested 61 animals and had none test positive for Chronic Wasting Disease.
