The Business Leadersihp Network helps put people with disabilities to work.

On Monday's edition of Public Pulse, the Business Leadership Network was represented to inform the community about who they are, and about a fundraiser coming up this Saturday, February 26th.

Lynnie Phipps with Relay for Life in Sheridan

Kick-off for the 2011 Relay for Life in Sheridan will be held with a meeting set for Thursday, March 3rd from 5:30 to 7 pm at the Sheridan Senior Center. Spokesperson Lynnie Phipps tells us the need is great to put the June 24th Relay together.

The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees approved $8.2 million to expand the Welch Cancer Center.

A little over two months ago, the design team of KWN Construction and CTA Architects began the process of developing a design that would allow for the expansion of the Welch Cancer Center.

Internaitionally acclaimed pianist Joshua Wright will perform in Sheridan next weekend.

The Sheridan College Young Musical Artist in Residence Series, or SCYMARS is bringing internationally acclaimed pianist Joshua Wright to Sheridan for a special performance a week from this Saturday.

Starting this week and continuing through March, the Johnson County Library will have fun events to welcome the public, starting with a kids' Fun at the Library Day this Friday.

A public archery range will be installed on city lands off of Highway 16 West now that the Buffalo City Council has approved the plan by a local vendor and an anonymous donor who brought the plan to the city council meeting last week.
