Sheridan College, Whitney Benefits and the University of Wyoming are in the process of exploring building an agricultural center south of Sheridan College on the 500-acre Adams Ranch property.

The Perkins building, the WYO Theater, and the Hallmark building could be the future site of the WYO Performing Arts Center.

Last September the City of Sheridan in conjunction with Sheridan College and the WYO Theater submitted a grant application to the Wyoming Business Council for the expansion of the WYO Theater.

Recreation District Approves Funds for Facility Update

The Sheridan Recreation District has approved $7,200 in carry over funds to hire an engineering firm to conduct a building analysis on the Old Highland Park School.

Through With Chew Week Begins Today

Today marks the beginning of Through With Chew Week in Wyoming. Sheridan County Tobacco Prevention Coalition is getting the word out on the dangers of smokeless tobacco by providing special awareness kits to local health care providers and dentists.

BLN to Host Dinner Theater Fundraiser Saturday

The Business Leadership Network for Sheridan and Buffalo will be hosting a dinner theater and auction next Saturday night in Sheridan. BLN Director Georgia Huckeby explains that it will be a fun filled evening for those in attendance.

The Buffalo Swim Club is selling raffle tickets for their annual duck race fundraiser. The race will be held April 30 in Clear Creek in Buffalo.

The month of February has been designated as Children's Dental Health Awareness Month, and being a short month, the culmination will actually be Friday, March 4th.
