Sheridan County Commission Chair Tom RIngley

The Sheridan County Commissioners awarded a couple of bids for upcoming projects at their meeting Tuesday. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has the story.

Among the 400+ bills going through the 2011 Wyoming Legislative Session is one dealing with an amendment to the Budget bill to add 4% back into the Developmental Disabilities coffers.

A new study issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency's U.S. Fire Administration, or USFA, finds that children ages 14 and under accounted for 13% of fire deaths in 2007. 52% of all children who die in fires are under the age of five.

Johnson County Commissioners

At their regular meeting Tuesday, Johnson County's Commissioners will meet with all of the elected county officials. The Elected Officials Meeting will begin at 9:15 am.

Buffalo's City Council

The Buffalo City Council will have their regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday at City Hall beginning at 4 o'clock.

The City of Sheridan Planning Commission approved the Sugarland Marketplace II Subdivision Monday night, which will re-subdivide two lots of the Sugarland South Addition into four lots for commercial development.
