Motorcycle deaths in Wyoming are higher than national averages, and the State of Wyoming has issued a grant to law enforcement agencies around the state in order to increase patrols this August.

Sheridan County Fire Warden Bill Biastoch along with the 6 fire districts within the county have requested that the County Commissioners enact county wide fire restrictions.

17-year-old convicted murderer Dharminder Sen filed a motion in Wyoming Supreme Court Thursday to withdraw counsel citing a conflict of interest, as his co-defendant Wyatt Bear Cloud is also being represented by the same court appointed attorneys in his appeal case.

The State of Wyoming's Veterans Memorial Park in Cody is looking to add another monument for vets who have died since Vietnam, and they are asking for Wyoming residents to help them complete their list of names by sending information.

Unemployment Numbers for Sheridan County Continue to Drop

Wednesday we told you about the continued decline in the state's unemployment rate, as it has been dropping since December of 2009 when the jobless rate was 7.7%.

Local musician Jana Davis is one of the many artists coming together to help raise money for Jon Quarterman, who's house burned down earlier this month.

Just over two weeks ago, a fire on Higby Road in Sheridan County destroyed the home of Jon Quarterman. Local musicians have banded together to host a fundraiser this Sunday to help Jon with the expense of building a new home.

Sheridan stores will dip their prices for the annual Crazy Days event that begins today and lasts through Saturday.

Jodi's Heart of Sheridan is a finalist in the "100 Cars for Good" program sponsored by Toyota. In the competition, Toyota takes 5,000 non-profits from around the country and narrows them down to 500, then, five of the organizations per day are posted on Toyota's Facebook page where people can vote for the winning organization to win a car.

Jimmy G's Rubber Duck Race will be this Saturday in Buffalo

Just one of the numerous events happening this weekend for Buffalo's Crazy Days is the annual Jimmy G's Rubber Duck Race to benefit the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum's Educational Department.
