Sheridan County School District No. 2 named Martha Eberhart teacher of the year for the district Monday night at their monthly board meeting.

The Sheridan/Johnson County Delegation meet with Story residents about redistricting.

The Sheridan Senior Center received a donation in the amount of $2,500 from the Sheridan Rotary Club that will benefit the Senior Center's Home Delivered Meals Program.

An organization that helps build schoolhouses and provide running water to rural communities in Nicaragua will hold a fundraiser this weekend in Sheridan. Project Schoolhouse's Tab Barker tells us about their Sod Farm Reunion.

Each year, the anniversary of 9/11 has been one of the largest charitable giving days of the year for Americans. Sheridan citizens proved that to be the truth, coming out to donate to the Spirit of America Food drive in honor of the 10-year anniversary of 9/11.

Two hundred and fifty walkers participated in the 2nd Annual Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk Sunday, that's almost 100 more than last year's inaugural walk.

Continuing to produce smoke over the mountains visible from Sheridan, the Reservoir Fire grew during the weekend to approximately 800 acres in size after it spread on the east side of Adelaide Reservoir in the Cloud Peak Wilderness Sunday, according to a Big Horn National Forest media release Monday

The annual Red Hat Society's State Convention was held in Buffalo over the weekend, and the town's hospitality and events were a huge hit with the estimated 150 ladies in attendance from all over the region.
