The heavy wet snow that hit Sheridan has brought a number of trees down around the city. Engineer for the City of Sheridan Lane Thompson says that for the time being, people should stay away from those downed trees.
The library was a busy place Thursday night as two events had people braving our first winter storm to go out and participate. The evening led out with an artists' reception for the 16th annual Fiber Arts Show on the mezzanine of the library.
