In 1993, the public drinking water in Milwaukee, Wisconsin was infiltrated with cryptosporidium, a waterborne germ that causes diarrhea in humans and can be fatal in certain situations. 104 people died as a result of the contamination, and over 400,000 residents became ill.

Thousands of people who've survived the loss of family members or friends to suicide will be connected on Saturday, November 23 during the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's 15th annual International Survivors of Suicide Day broadcast.

After holding an executive session that lasted most of the afternoon Thursday, the University of Wyoming Board of Trustees announced during a media conference that President Bob Sternberg has tendered his resignation. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the story.
