CODY, Wyo. (AP) - A Montana nature photographer has been sentenced to life in prison after he pleaded guilty to kidnapping and sexually abusing an 10-year-old girl in Wyoming.

Sheridan area residents and visitors can ride the Sheridan trolley, take an old-fashioned hay ride and get a head start on their Christmas shopping on Friday, Nov. 29, during the annual Christmas Stroll downtown.

Sheridan County School District 2 is seeking a state law this week authorizing intervention by law enforcement in cases of cyberbullying.

Longtime director of the Children, Horses and Adults in Partnership program Sue Suddith has taken a position in Jackson, Wyoming, to work for a program similar to CHAPS. New Executive Director Amber Roberson says that she's no stranger to the non-profit.

The local food pantry in Sheridan is in need of donations.

A number of agreements, ranging from a law enforcement agreement with the Bighorn National Forest to a service agreement for generators at the judicial/justice center were signed by the Johnson County Commissioners at their last meeting.
