PINEDALE, Wyo. (AP) - An explosion in a western Wyoming gas field has injured five workers, one of them critically. Encana officials say the cause isn't known, but contract workers were welding at the time in the Jonah gas field.

The floodplain management plan for Sheridan County, that must be in place by January, has undergone a few changes recently, and become confusing to some.
So, News Director Leslie Stratmoen discussed the plan in detail this week, with two of the commissioners, in hopes of gaining a better understanding.

The Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation has adopted policies for the coming year on various issues, including livestock trespass, taxes, wildlife damages and support of the coal industry.
The organization adopted the policies during its annual meeting this month in Laramie.
