Since 1965, Up with People has provided young people from around the world a unique opportunity to travel abroad and see the world from a different perspective. The group has been in Sheridan this week volunteering with a number of different agencies.

The Sheridan County Conservation District is seeking a consultant to assist in an assessment of the Tongue River channel and its floodplain for about five miles upstream of the town of Dayton.

A University of Wyoming professor is part of a research team that has made a breakthrough in understanding the movement of glaciers in Greenland. Geologist Neil Humphrey says the melting ice under the ice sheet moves much more slowly than previously thought.

We reported earlier this week that candidate for U.S. Senate for Wyoming, Liz Cheney, has been taking some flak for purchasing a resident fishing license when she had only been in the state for 72 consecutive days. Wyoming Game and Fish considers 365 days in state as official residency.

Hourlong I-90, I-25 Road Closures in Buffalo Area Begin Next Week

The Wyoming Department of Transportation announced Thursday there will be a series of hourlong road closures starting on Monday on Interstates 90 and 25 in the Buffalo area.
