Agreement Allows City to Take Over Ownership of Linden Hill

The City of Sheridan has taken over ownership of Linden Hill thanks to an agreement between the Child Development Center and the City that was approved by the Sheridan City Council Monday night.

The North Main Association will be hosting the annual Taste of Sheridan this Sunday in Thorne-Rider Park. Chairperson for the Taste of Sheridan, Nancy Silla says that there will be 13 booths featuring some of the best food Sheridan has to offer.

Drowning is the leading cause of death for infants between the age of one and four. But staff with the Sheridan Recreation District are hoping to provide training to the youngest of youngsters and give them the basic skills to survive if they fall into a pool or another body of water.
