The steering committee that is tasked with figuring out what to do with Kendrick Pool in the next several years continues to keep all options open at this time.

For the second time in as many months, a federal coal auction resulted in no sale, as the Bureau of Land Management Wednesday rejected Kiewit Mining Company's $35 million bid for the Hay Creek II coal tract.

Over the past two fiscal years, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department has had nearly $7 million cut from their budget. This has resulted in the department having to make cuts in education programs, conservation, and wildlife monitoring.

Northern Wyoming Community College trustees approved a bond resolution at their meeting Wednesday night that will finance $8.3 million in improvements to the Thorne-Rider Campus Center.

The tour began in the Inner Circle of the library, moved to the Wyoming Room and then ventured out to the cemetery, amidst thunder, lightening, and then what turned into a downpour. Tuesday night was the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery Program conducted by local educator and historian Tyson Emborg.

Johnson County Library

At their Tuesday meeting, the Johnson County Commissioners and the Library Board discussed two funding options for the proposed expansion project for the library.
