Councilman Dominguez Resigns

It was a year ago that Levi Dominguez was sworn in as councilor for ward 3 in Sheridan. Monday night at the Sheridan City Council meeting, Dominguez informed his colleagues that he'd be stepping down so that he can put more focus into his career.

The Sheridan City Council Monday night received an update from Public Works Director Nic Bateson on the amount of time and effort street crews have put in trying to keep up with what has been an unusually busy winter season.

As reported in first news this morning, Liz Cheney has dropped out of the race for U.S. Senator. She was trying to out-seat long-time U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, also a Republican from Wyoming.

 Ever since most of Wyoming got pelted with that first snowstorm in September, I have been itching to get to a warmer climate.

On Dec. 30, we climbed into our nine-year old motorhome (aptly named FollowMyNose) and started our slog southward.
