Representative for State House District 40 Mike Madden and State Senator for District 22 Dave Kinskey attended the Buffalo Chamber After Hours event last Thursday at the Cowboy Carousel Center in Buffalo.
The evening was an opportunity for the public to meet the lawmakers from our area and discuss issues, problems or ideas with them before the opening of the Legislative Session in January.
Madden explained why he feels these types of events are important.
Some of the issues Madden discussed with constituents that night, he said, were Medicaid expansion and water programs in the state, especially Johnson County, both storage and rehabilitation projects.
