Johnson County Public Information Officer Marcy Schueler gave an update on the fire west of Buffalo this evening.

Johnson County Emergency Management Coordinator Marilyn Connolly has given an update on the fire near Windy Ridge west of Buffalo.

Connolly said the fire is about 40 acres right now, and is what they classify as a “ground fire with occasional torching.”

BREAKING NEWS:

A fire is burning through a wooded area about five miles west of Buffalo.

Secretary of State Max Maxfield says state law requires candidates, candidate committees, and political action committees (PACs) to file a post-general election campaign finance disclosure report by November 14—a law that applies to all non-federal candidates.

During his monthly news conference earlier this week in Cheyenne, Governor Matt Mead provided an update on the progress of the Unified Network, that is aimed at expanding access to broadband internet around the state.
