Halliburton Invests in UW Research Facility

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead joined officials from Halliburton and the University of Wyoming Tuesday to announce that Halliburton is investing $3 million to help build a new energy and engineering research complex.

Buffalo Archery Range Looking For Different Access

Brett Brenden, with Grouse Mountain Archery Range, came before the Buffalo City Council at their Tuesday meeting, asking for a different access to the facility that would help with making the area more secure and safer.

Lindstrom Sentenced In Johnson County District Court

Last Friday, District Judge William J. Edelman sentenced Michael Allan Lindstrom to two consecutive sentences of life without the possibility of parole followed by a consecutive sentence of 40 to 50 years in prison.

Vacant Council Seat to Be Filled Early April

The City of Sheridan will begin advertising this week for the vacant council seat for ward three. The City Council Monday night elected to open the position up to any city resident now that the council positions are at-large.
