It's been a week since Sheridan County Commission Chairman Terry Cram on behalf of his fellow commissioners, issued a letter to each member of the Sheridan City Council along with Mayor Dave Kinskey requesting that the two governing bodies meet to “clear the air” on issues of mutual interest.

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies will hold their annual Empty Bowl fundraiser Thursday, March 13 from 5 to 8 at the Sheridan County YMCA. Gourmet soups will be served in handcrafted bowls made by community members.

Johnson County Road and Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer updated the County Commissioners on various projects his department is either doing or overseeing.

The 2014 Johnson County Health Fair will be happening this Saturday at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Buffalo.

Every year, the Johnson County Healthcare Center teams with Wyoming Health Fairs to offer discounted blood screenings for the citizens of Johnson County.

Earlier this morning all schools in Buffalo were evacuated while City Fire and Montana-Dakota Utilities crews inspected the buildings, but everything is "back to normal," according to Buffalo Mayor Randy Dyess.
