Hundreds of children showed up at the Brinton Museum near Big Horn Saturday afternoon for a Halloween Extravaganza. Called “Things That Go Bump in the Night,” the afternoon had everything a giant Halloween party could entail.

Research done by psychologists are saying that the kind of music you listen to can pretty accurately predict the kind of personality you have. Your playlist might just might shine a spotlight on your personality.

Costumed pets from dogs and bunnies to goats and turtles joined their human companions in Kendrick Park Saturday morning for Sheridan's 15th annual Pet-O-Ween.

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Saturday morning a group of marchers made a show of their support against domestic violence by taking it down Main Street in Sheridan.

Typically lemonade stands are reserved for summertime, when the temperatures are a bit warmer. However, one young Sheridan girl came up with an idea to sell lemonade in an effort to help other children in the community who are less fortunate.

The Sheridan City Council will hold a special meeting Wednesday to consider second reading of an ordinance that calls for revision or repeal of provisions in the city's municipal code. The council, at their regularly scheduled meeting October 19, approved the ordinance on first reading.

Sure there's a scientific reason why many species of trees change colors in the fall.

About 300 more people visited the Sheridan County Museum during the first nine months of this year than over the same period in 2014.
