Bed Race Brings Spectators to Their Feet

Seven teams consisting of four runners and two riders on the beds raced down Main Street, all part of the ever-favorite Beds Along the Big Horns Bed Race which started immediately after the pancake feed on Grinnell on Friday.

Starting at 8 this morning with a shot that could be heard around Sheridan, the Sheridan WYO Rodeo Parade Day began with nearly 500 runners competing in the annual Sneakers and Spurs 5K Run.

One of many traditions in downtown Sheridan on rodeo parade day is the annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast. Sheridan Media reporter Pat Blair was on the scene this morning, and gives us details.

Today is the big community events day for WYO Rodeo week in Sheridan, starting off this morning with the pancake breakfast, served from 6-9 on downtown’s Grinnell Plaza, hosted by the Kiwanis.
