The Wyoming Senior Olympics are in Sheridan this week.

More information has become available about the air service the local task force is negotiating with to provide commercial air service out of Sheridan.

Sheridan WYO Rodeo week has come and gone for another year, and for the most part, there were no major incidents involving law enforcement. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the story.

The Northern Wyoming Community College District Board of Trustees approved the budget for the fiscal year that began on July 1 at their meeting Wednesday night. The total expenditure budget for the fiscal year is in the amount of $78.4 million, with an operating fund of $28.2 million.

A little cloud cover with a slight breeze made an evening on the grounds of the Trail End State Historic Site a night to remember.

Wednesday, an open house was held at the Trail End and Site Superintendent Cynde Georgen explained.

This week’s Wyoming Wednesday’s program focused on Father DeSmet in a presentation by Fred Patz of Sheridan. Wyoming Wednesdays are hour long programs led by local experts on different aspects of Wyoming’s history and culture.

Sheridan County officials have cut 13 positions from their payrolls for the fiscal year that started on July 1.
