Sheridan County Fireworks

There are a couple of community fireworks celebrations planned for this evening in Sheridan County. The Big Horn Equestrian Center will be the site for the annual fireworks extravaganza sponsored by State Senator Bruce Burns. Gates will open at 4 and music by Dave Munsick will begin at 6:30.

Sheridan College Students Construct Pathways Shelter

In a collaborative effort between Sheridan College’s construction technology program and the college’s Outdoor Adventure Club, students recently built a shelter structure to serve as a trail-head on the Sheridan Pathways, across from the front lawn of the college campus.

Sagebrush to Host Miss Indian America Art Show, Market

Artwork by four former Miss Indian Americas will be featured in an invitational art show that starts Tuesday at the Sagebrush Fine Art Gallery.

Big Horn Mountain Music Festival

The 11th Annual Big Horn Mountain Music Festival kicks off next Friday, July 10th, at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Buffalo. The three-day festival will include folk, bluegrass, old-timey and Americana music with headliners John Anderson and Marty Stuart.

'Light Up The Lake' at Lake Desmet Tonight

The Lake Stop at Lake DeSmet will be having their annual “Light Up The Lake” event again tonight to celebrate the Fourth of July.

“Light Up The Lake” is a lighted parade of boats decorated for the holiday that takes place on the lake at dusk, followed by a fireworks display at dark.
